Above were just some sample searches that led to Wexii.com in the past two weeks. There were additional image searches that also pointed to photographer's gallery images directly.

Remember, if you don't have at least one wedding at Wexii, your listing cannot be found.

We are excited to let you know within a month from our initial launch, a visitor clicked on a Google search result that leads to Wexii.com. The search term was:

Ronda is a city in the state of North Carolina. Wexii.com is on the second page of the search result. This is an extraordinary progress for a website that is only 18-day old!

One of the most important elements of Wexii is that it's location-driven. Whether this location is a city or a wedding venue, the weddings you add and the pictures you upload allow brides to easily find you.

We would like to remind you again that you need to have at least one wedding before your listing can be found. So don't miss out!

One of the major goals of being a wedding vendor at Wexii is to be found by brides. Wexii is designed from the ground up to facilitate this. From how the pages are laid out and the content of each page, to how URLs are defined throughout the entire website.

The ultimate goal is for brides to find you by entering search queries like these:

Most likely, the first page returned is a page at Wexii.com. Although the search of "night shot" doesn't make much sense in this example, it demonstrated the power of content relevance, all due to a sharing posted by a wedding vendor for the venue.

In only 12 days since we launched, Google has already indexed the entire website and started to return results. If you've not yet added any weddings or contributed any content, you are missing out.

We are developing a ranking algorithm that controls how vendors for a specific location or venue are displayed. The number of weddings continues to be an important factor, but the number of pictures you upload for each wedding, whether you've shared your experience or not, even your avatar all become part of the calculation. The more content you provide and contribute, the higher your ranking will be.

We want to emphasize again that we do not want to be another directory listing service. As a matter of fact, if you have not added any weddings yet, your business is nearly impossible to be found on Wexii.

So don't wait, start to add your weddings and share some of your experience working at venues. Wexii will take care of the rest by bringing brides to your page.

Continue from our previous blog, just how do you take advantage of the full potential of Wexii by contributing meaning contents?

1) Weddings. The number of weddings you've completed/booked is one of the controlling factors in Wexii's listing. The more weddings you have at a particular venue, the higher your listing will be displayed.

2) Avatars. It is very important for you to create an avatar image for your own profile, as well as the weddings you've added. An image provides a sense of reassurance when brides look at your profile or review your work and has a significantly higher probability of being clicked than those without an avatar. Not only can you create avatar for your own profile and weddings, you can also add avatar images to the venues of your wedding. You can use your own images or the venue's logo. Simply click on the "Avatar" link next to the venue name of your wedding.

3) Connect. Once you've added your weddings and venues, contact the brides or venue administrators to invite them to Wexii, especially for future weddings. Brides can register and invite other vendors they have booked to join; you could introduce yourself to the venue and let them know you have a wedding coming up. Such connection builds up your network and let brides find you from more different entities.

4) Share. After you complete a wedding at a venue, make sure you share your experience. Brides will read these sharings and may establish contact with you to help them with their own wedding at the same venue.

The possibilities are endless, but it is fully under your own control.

As a wedding vendor, you've probably by now realized the power of the Wexii network relies on its unique content.

We do not have industry experts writing blogs nor do we provide wedding resources or planning tools for the brides. There are already too many websites that provide these services and quite frankly, they are all the same.

What's lacking is real meaningful content. Not just the pictures/videos you upload to show off your work, but more importantly for brides, your prior working experience that's not always easy to find and compare.

Here are some sample questions many brides will ask -- how many weddings have you done? Have you ever worked at a particular venue where I am getting married at? Can I take a look at your work at that venue? I am also looking for a videographer, who have you worked with previously that you can recommend?

You cannot easily provide these information from your website and your portfolio, but these are all very important information for brides.

Wexii solves these problems by providing a social-network type of platform where all above questions are answered. And once the bride decides to contact you, you have a significantly higher chance of being hired because the bride already saw your work at the venue she is getting married at and compared them with other vendors from the same venue.
